We take this opportunity to introduce
Peora
as one of the finest destinations for nature tourism situated in
the cradle of the mighty Himalayas in India. We understand that
you are the one who is keen to explore the Himalayan bounties
combined with a sense of adventure and nature.
Resort Sequester
offers this outstanding opportunity.
The Resort is located in the picturesque backdrop of
Peora
cradled in the outer Himalayan Shivalik ranges of Kumaon. It can
be best described as a small hamlet situated at a height
6600ft / 1997mt with its off beat characteristic, draped with the
thick blanket of natural vegetation of mainly pine and oak, this
place offers visitors the uninterrupted view of over 350km span
of high snow capped Himalayan terrain a very unique experience
for the hungry eyes.
Peora - a small hamlet located remotely is a new destination in
the tourism map of Komaon Hills. It lies silently on the laps of
lush green woods of the Himalayas, on the Mukteshwar Almora
road. It is a village of few, small but beautiful, old but
lively, remote but approachable. Traveling through the
serpentine road, adorned with towering pine and oak trees, you
reach the destination and there you behold the gorgeous
Himalayas with snow-clad peaks. Down below, the chains of
mountains offering their homage, fade into the horizon.

This little hamlet offers picturesque landscape of different
seasons. The spring is clad in verdure and variegated flowering
trees. Autumn is tantalizing with the view of fresh fruits like
apple, apricot, peach, plum etc. hanging from trees. Rainy
season in Peora is really vibrating and enchanting with its
drenched green surroundings and unhindered misty view 0f the
sprawling mountains.
Peora in winter is most lively and inviting. The frosty
landscape of early morning is followed by dazzling sunbeam for a
lazy sunbath. Solitude of the winter night is often disturbed by
the howls of the leopard or barking of the deer; chirping of
birds is no less inviting in the day. In the moonlit night the
gigantic mountain ranges gleam in the bright moon beam that can
never peep in through the polluted urban sky.
Kumaon region is well known for its rich flora & fauna. This
offers an ideal home for the leopards, wild cats, barking dears,
Indian black bears and various species of birds.
Sir Jim Corbett was so fascinated with the tigress of Mukteshwar
that he was inspired to write his famous book Man Eaters of
Kumaon. The bird watchers will find their paradise here.
